Q12: How is the interpretation quote calculated?
An interpretation service quote is calculated based on the total hours/days for which the service is provided, the date and place of deliverance, the level of difficulty or technical expertise required, and the individual interpreter’s years of experience. Preparatory meetings or briefings will be added to service hours, and will be charged at an equal rate. For long-term assignments, a lower per-hour rate may be negotiated. However, the invoice that we issue functions as tax invoice when it is submitted to the Tax Office by your company’s accountant an evidence for the purchase of an outsourced service. The only distinction is that a tax-exempt organization can issue a non-tax invoice and receipt, where as a tax-paying organization or corporation can issue a tax invoice and receipt with tax calculation.
